Machu Picchu

machu picchu is a really interesting place that i really want to visit someday. it's a historical place of inca and located in a mountain in peru. so here, i'm going to tell you some about machu picchu.

Machu Picchuis a 15th-century Inca citadel situated on a mountain ridge 2,430 metres (7,970 ft) above sea level. It is located in the Cusco Region, Urubamba Province, Machupicchu District in Peru, above the Sacred Valley, which is 80 kilometres (50 mi) northwest of Cuzco and through which the Urubamba River flows.

Most archaeologists believe that Machu Picchu was built as an estate for the Inca emperor Pachacuti (1438–1472). Often mistakenly referred to as the "Lost City of the Incas" (a title more accurately applied to Vilcabamba), it is the most familiar icon of Inca civilization. The Incas built the estate around 1450 but abandoned it a century later at the time of the Spanish Conquest. Although known locally, it was remained unknown to the outside world until American historian Hiram Bingham brought it to international attention in 1911.

Machu Picchu was built in the classical Inca style, with polished dry-stone walls. Its three primary structures are the Inti Watana, the Temple of the Sun, and the Room of the Three Windows. Most of the outlying buildings have been reconstructed in order to give tourists a better idea of how they originally appeared. By 1976, thirty percent of Machu Picchu had been restored and restoration continues.

Machu Picchu was declared a Peruvian Historical Sanctuary in 1981 and a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1983. In 2007, Machu Picchu was voted one of the New Seven Wonders of the World in a worldwide Internet poll.

so that's a little about machu picchu, for me, machu picchu is really interesting and i really want to go there. i hope i will, someday.

MEGANTARA 2016

hi everyone! do you know about the culture festival that SMAN 3 Bandung held on September 10, last saturday? this time i'm going to tell you what is Megantara.

Megantara is a culture festival that SMAN 3 Bandung held as one of the student's organisation's work. it was attended by all people from bandung because it's open for everyone. it was very fun and exciting.

the event started at 8.00 am with a fashion parade. This fashion parade showed traditional clothes from many provinces in Indonesia

This event actually started 11.30am. The open gate got delayed for 1 hour and a half. People has started to enter the venue. The venue is at bali field in jalan bali. As the time went by the venue started to get crowded.

there's so many entertainers, like the changcuters and RAN. people get so into the performance they made, it was so much fun. but i had to went home earlier because i felt so ill at the time. so i miss a part of RAN's performance. 

I think the event was very fun, even tho i got so tired but i had such a blast. i met so many people and friends from the middle school. i like it very much and nothing is compared to this event. 

so that's it about megantara. there's a lot more about this event, so i'll keep you updated. and don't forget to come to the next culture festival by SMAN 3 Bandung.

World Tournament And Techno Fest

World Tournament and Techno Fest

hii.. this time i'm gonna tell you about wttf aka world tournament and techno fest.
actually, what is World Tournament and Techno Fest? World Tournament and Techno Fest is an event in SMAN 3 bandung. It was held on Saturday, august 20, 2016. the participants are students from grade 10 and 11. there are a lot of games at the event.

we started to gather around at 6.30 in the bali field near SMA 5 bandung. we got a lot of instructions, so basically, the game provide us to walk and run from one station to another or should we call, planets because the stations are on different planets and we're running around the galaxy. we also should take down every aliens there. the game is a race between grade 10 and grade 11.

we ran around from the SMAN 3 building to the parking lot, to the bali field, music park and we need to go to the tongkeng park, it's pretty far from the school and we should get there by our own feet. by the time we got there, it's already dzuhur time so people take a break for a moment. there, i ate lotek with pink, aliesha and diva. after we ate, we continue the game. oh, i forgot to tell you, my class was guided by teh amadhea. after tongkeng park, we went to photo park that even a lot more far but we should go there so we went there anyway. thank god, it's the last game we had to play. after we finished, we went back to bali field by public transportation.

we were gathered again in the bali field to complete the last task. the last mission is to get all the puzzles we got from every mini game together. we miss a lot puzzle pieces but 32019 aka grade 10 won the game. yeay!

so that's it about wttf aka World Tournament and Techno Fest.
